By accessing and using SolarScope, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

• Services Description
  SolarScope provides solar engineering and project management tools, including solar project analysis and calculations, project management features, AI-powered recommendations, and report generation.
• User Accounts
  To use our services, you must provide accurate registration information, maintain the security of your account, and promptly notify us of any unauthorized access.
• Intellectual Property
  All content, features, and functionality are owned by SolarScope and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
• User Responsibilities
  Users agree to use the service for legitimate business purposes, not misuse or attempt to hack the system, maintain accurate project information, and respect other users' privacy.
• AI Apps, API Keys and the SolarScope API
  
  • Your account, your connections. You may connect SolarScope to AI apps (such as ChatGPT or Claude) with "Sign in with SolarScope", or create API keys, to use SolarScope with your own account. Keep API keys private. You are responsible for requests made with your keys and connected apps, and you can disconnect an app or revoke a key at any time under Account > API & AI agents.
  • Allowances and fair use. Use through AI apps and the API is limited to the monthly allowance of your plan and to reasonable request rates. Do not try to get around these limits, share or resell access, or use the API to copy SolarScope's data in bulk or build a competing dataset. We may pause or revoke keys and connections that are misused or put the service at risk.
  • Results are a first screen. Screening results come from public data sources and automated rules. They may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and they are not engineering, legal, financial or insurance advice. Confirm interconnection capacity with the utility and flood risk with a survey before you rely on a site.
  • Other services. AI apps you connect are provided by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies. SolarScope is not responsible for how those apps use the results you ask for.
  • Changes. We may change or end features of the API and the AI app connection. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can.
• Limitation of Liability
  SolarScope is provided "as is" without any warranty. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our services.
• Changes to Terms
  We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes.
