PDF Report Generation
SolarScope Pro and Premium plans include professional PDF report generation. Reports can be downloaded and shared with clients, investors, or permitting authorities, providing a polished, branded document of the solar analysis for a specific site.
What's Included in Reports
A SolarScope PDF report includes:
- Cover page with project name, location, and report date
- Executive summary with key metrics: annual production, GHI, PSH, capacity factor, estimated savings
- Monthly production chart showing expected energy generation by month
- Irradiance data table with GHI, DNI, DHI for each month
- System parameters summary (size, tilt, azimuth, efficiency)
- AI insights section with analysis narrative and optimization recommendations
- Data source attribution (NASA POWER, NREL)
- SolarScope branding with client information
Generating a Report
From any project view, click Export PDF Report. SolarScope generates the report server-side and downloads it to your browser within 10–30 seconds.
Customization
Currently, PDF reports use SolarScope's standard template with your project's data populated automatically. Future updates will include custom logo uploading, white-label options, and custom sections. Contact support if you need custom report layouts for enterprise use.
Report File Naming
Reports are automatically named with the project name and date: SolarScope_Report_ProjectName_YYYY-MM-DD.pdf. The file is immediately available for download and is not stored on SolarScope's servers after delivery.
